We didn’t begin with a single idea — it began with a lifelong love of creating. Nearly twenty years ago, what would eventually become L Be Designs started with simple alterations and tiny baby clothes stitched at the kitchen table. Back then, the business was called D Rix Creations, a name carried through the years I spent as an Army wife, sewing between moves, deployments, and the ever‑changing rhythm of military life.

As I traveled the country, my work grew with me. The business became 0425 Designs, and my sewing machine became a constant companion — helping me create everything from children’s outfits to wedding dresses, from building awnings to custom pieces for families who trusted my hands with their most meaningful moments. Every new place brought new inspiration, new customers, and new skills that shaped the maker I am today.

Eventually, the business found its final evolution as L Be Designs, a name that reflects both where I’ve been and where I’m going. Today, I create handmade children’s clothing, accessories, and rescued stuffies with the same care and craftsmanship that started it all. Quality has always been at the heart of my work — pieces made to last, to be loved, and to be passed down through generations. And with a commitment to zero‑waste practices, every scrap of fabric finds a new purpose, often becoming the soft stuffing inside a rescued companion.
Two decades, three names, countless stitches — and one steady mission: to create meaningful, durable, joy‑filled pieces that honor childhood, sustainability, and the beauty of handmade work.
